Late in 2019, Matthew Harris, Clean Harris, and Aspen Emry co-founded Emrys International.

In June 2020, BehindMLM released its initial evaluation of Emrys International.

Emry quit the business soon after it began operations and later established Bravenly Global.

Matthew and Illean Harris, a husband and wife team, kept running Emrys International. But the business now is very different from what it was in 2019.

Email International began as a Florida corporation at the time of its corporate debut. Email International’s website today offers a South African business address.

But it seems like the Harris family is still based in Miami, Florida.

Email International is being reviewed again today to determine if anything has changed since BehindMLM’s original 2020 evaluation.

The Compensation Plan of Emrys International

The core of Emrys International’s compensation strategy is the retail sale of Momentum Business Academy memberships to affiliates that have been recruited.

Each month, the sale of a Standard membership creates 40 PV.

Each month, the purchase of a VIP subscription yields 85 PV.

Personal Volume is abbreviated as PV. PV, which includes an affiliate’s subscription, is the sales volume produced by personal subscription sales.

Affiliate Ranks for Emrys International

The compensation structure of Emrys International has fourteen affiliate tiers.

They are as follows, along with their respective qualifying standards:

Brand Ambassadors should enroll in the Momentum Business Academy as members and become Emrys International affiliates.

Senior Brand Ambassador: Produce and keep up 40 PV over a rolling five-week period.

Executive: Recruit and retain two Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, maintain 40 PV over a rolling five-week period.

Produce and sustain 80 PV over a rolling five-week period, three Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, and 1500 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume to qualify as a 1 Star Executive.

Maintaining 80 PV over a rolling five-week period, three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors, or above, and 4500 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume are all requirements for 2 Star Executive status.

Maintain three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, produce and maintain 9000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume, and uphold 80 PV over a rolling 5-week period to qualify as a 3 Star Executive.

Sustain three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, produce and maintain 18,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume, and maintain 80 PV over a rolling five-week period.

Maintain three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, produce and maintain 36,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume, and maintain 80 PV over a rolling five-week period to be a 1 Star Director.

Sustain three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, produce and maintain 75,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume, and maintain 80 PV over a rolling five-week period.

Maintaining three individually hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, maintaining 80 PV over a rolling five-week period, and producing and maintaining 150,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume are all requirements for a three-star director.

Sustain three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, develop and maintain 300,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side traffic, and uphold 80 PV over a rolling five-week period for the Vice President position.

Maintaining 80 PV over a rolling five-week period, three individually hired Senior Brand Ambassadors, or higher, and generating and maintaining 600,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume are all requirements for the position of senior vice president.

Sustain three personally hired Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, produce and maintain 900,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume, and maintain 80 PV over a rolling five-week period.

Three personally recruited Senior Brand Ambassadors or above, 80 PV over a rolling five-week period, and 1,200,000 GV in monthly weaker binary team side volume are required of Presidential Ambassadors.

Group Volume is the acronym for GV. PV is produced by an affiliate and their downline is known as GV.

Keep in mind that from the Director, no one unilevel team leg may account for more than 50% of the needed GV.

In terms of recruiting criteria, at least one Senior Brand Ambassador or higher hired must be on both sides of the binary team to qualify for a level.

Momentum Business Academy Commissions from Subscriptions

Affiliates of Emrys International receive $15 for each Standard MBA membership sold and $35 for each Pro subscription.

Regardless of whether a subscriber is a recruited affiliate or a retail client, the same commission is given out.

Employer commissions

Affiliates of Emrys International receive a commission for bringing in new affiliates:

Earn $15 for each Entrepreneur tier affiliate you bring on.

Receive $35 for bringing in a Mogul tier affiliate.

Recurring Commissions

Email International uses a binary compensation mechanism to pay residual commissions.

An affiliate is positioned at the head of a binary team that is divided into two sides (left and right) by a binary remuneration structure:

The binary team’s initial level has two slots. These initial two places are divided into another two positions each to create the second level of the binary team (4 positions).

The binary team is formed in stages, with each stage containing twice as many slots as the preceding stage.

Direct and indirect affiliate recruiting is used to fill positions on the binary team. The depth to which a binary team can expand is unbounded.

Email International totals the number of new subscriptions on both sides of the binary team after the week.

A portion of the subscription volume earned on their weaker binary team side is paid to executives and better-ranking affiliates:

Executives are paid a residual commission rate of 8% with a weekly salary ceiling of $2500.

The weekly salary ceiling for 9% residual commissions paid to 1 Star Executives is $2500.

10% residual commission pay for 2 Star Executives is restricted at $2500 per week.

The weekly salary ceiling for 3 Star Executives’ 11% residual commission rate is $2500.

Directors are paid a 12% residual commission rate, up to a weekly maximum of $2500.

1 Star Directors are paid a 13% residual commission rate with a weekly salary ceiling of $2500.

2 Star Directors are paid a 14% residual commission rate, with a weekly maximum of $5000.

15% residual commission pay for 3 Star Directors is restricted to $10,000 per week.

Vice Presidents are paid a 15% residual commission rate with a weekly salary ceiling of $20,000.

Senior Vice Presidents are paid a residual commission rate of 15% with a weekly salary ceiling of $30,000.

Executive Vice Presidents are paid a residual commission rate of 15% with a weekly salary ceiling of $40,000.

Presidential envoys are paid a 15% residual commission rate, up to a weekly maximum of $75,000.

Volume is matched against the stronger binary team side and flushed after being paid out.

Any remaining volume on the side of the stronger binary team carries over.

Comparative Bonus

Email International matches 10% of the residual commissions that affiliates it directly recruits earn.

Additionally, they offer a residual matching bonus monitored across a unilevel compensation system for up to two generations.

An affiliate is put at the head of a unilevel team in a unilevel pay system, and each affiliate they recruited is positioned immediately under them (level 1):

New affiliates brought on by any level 1 affiliates are added to the original affiliate’s unilevel team at level 2.

If any level 2 affiliates bring on new affiliates, they are promoted to level 3, and so on down a theoretically endless number of levels.

When a Director or higher ranking affiliate is present in a unilevel team leg, Emrys International defines generations for that leg.

The first generation for that leg comes to an end with this first Director, and the second generation starts right after.

They end the second generation for that leg if a second Director or higher is present farther down the leg.

In the absence of such rated affiliates, the second generation of that leg reaches the bottom.

The 1 Star Director and higher-rated affiliates that use this generation structure receive the following residual Matching Bonus:

A 5% match is given to up to one generation of 1 Star and 2 Star Directors for each unilevel team leg.

Up to two generations of 3 Star Directors or higher receive a 5% match on each unilevel team leg.

VIP Membership Bonus

If they sell and maintain 250 to 499 PV in VIP monthly membership volume, Emrys International affiliates receive a 10% incentive on that volume.

A 15% incentive is given if the affiliate sells and maintains 500 PV in monthly VIP subscription volume.

Bonus Pools for Directors and Vice Presidents

1.5% of the total sales volume of the firm is put into a Director and Vice President Bonus Pool by Emrys International.

1% of the total subscription volume for Emrys International as a whole goes towards the Director Bonus Pool.

Every four weeks, the Director Bonus Pool pays payments according to shares:

10 shares are given to directors.

12 shares are given to 1 Star Directors.

14 shares are awarded to 2 Star Directors.

16 shares are awarded to 3 Star Directors.

18 shares are given to vice presidents.

20 shares are given to senior vice presidents.

22 shares are given to executive vice presidents.

Presidential Ambassadors receive 24 shares

Be aware that shares are distributed every week, as opposed to the four weeks the Director Bonus Pool is paid out.

0.5% of the total subscription volume for Emrys International is allocated to the Vice President Bonus Pool.

Based on downline subscription volume, vice president and higher level Emrys International affiliates are eligible for shares in the vice president bonus pool.

Shares of the Vice President Bonus Pool appear to be distributed at a ratio of 1 GV = 1 share, subject to the following restrictions:

For the ETCV requirement for one’s Paid-As rank, at most 50% may be used.

ETCV is the unique label for GV used by Emrys International.

Although I’m not certain for sure, it appears that Emrys International limits countable GV to 50% of the rank-required GV of an affiliate eligible for the President Bonus Pool.

Bonus for Rank Achievement

Email International offers the following Rank Achievement Bonuses to affiliates that meet the requirements for 1 Star Executive and higher:

qualify as a 1 Star Executive and receive $250 qualify as a 2 Star Executive and receive $500 qualify as a 3 Star Executive and receive $1000 qualify as a Director and receive $2000 over the course of two months qualify as a 1 Star Director and receive $5000 over the course of four months qualify as a 2 Star Vice President and receive $50,000 over the course of four months qualify a

Keep in mind that for Director and higher, rank qualification is required throughout the whole payment term.

Email International membership

The acquisition of a Momentum Business Academy membership is required to become an associate of Emrys International.

Entrepreneur – $96 initially, then $35 each year (Standard subscription tier)

Mogul: $146 initially, then $35 yearly (Pro subscription tier)

International Emrys Conclusion

By requiring affiliates to pay for Momentum Business Academy memberships, Emrys International sets itself up as a pyramid scheme.

They easily connect to monthly PV needs (eventually affiliates are expected to maintain a Pro subscription). What’s left is an MLM opportunity where the main emphasis is on recruiting.

As soon as you sign up, pay your monthly membership cost, and refer new members, you will get compensated.

Email International would let affiliate registration without a subscription and completely exclude affiliate subscription volume from rank criteria (or at the very least need a 50% split between retail and recruited affiliate traffic) if they were serious about retail.

This, in my opinion, relates to Momentum Business Academy being a subpar retail product.

Although Momentum Business Academy lacks content, it has a lot of marketing material. The fact that Emrys International does not identify the source of the course content only makes matters worse.

I think it’s the Harris family, and Emrys International is merely a vehicle for them to advertise and distribute their stuff.

There is nothing wrong with this, however, it might be against FTC Act regulations if it is not made clear who is behind Momentum Business Academy. notwithstanding the problems with the pyramid outlined above.

Going back to Emrys International’s compensation structure, a static $2500 residual income ceiling severely penalizes lower-ranking affiliates.

Why raise the residual commission rate from 8% to 13% while keeping the weekly residual commission cap at $2500? All that will change is when affiliates reach the cap.

This stifles any early-stage business growth motivation and enthusiasm.

This might also be a malicious choice, given that the bulk of affiliates in an MLM organization is often dispersed among lower levels.

There is space for improvement.

In conclusion, I should note that photos on Emrys International’s website have been malfunctioning for some time. I’m not sure if someone neglected to pay the hosting payment or what the story is.

I’m not sure what causes it, but occasionally I can bring up the malfunctioning website for Emrys International. Other times, I’m prompted to select a location and am then sent to a website with the Momentum Business Academy logo.

I have no clue why there should be two web pages. I did observe that the website for Momentum Business Academy lists a Miami, Florida virtual office corporate address.

Pay to play would be where my investigation into Emrys International would start and stop.

Ask your potential Emrys International upline for concrete instances of how the MBA has impacted their business if you want to go further.

If you want instances outside of Emrys International, be careful to clarify so; otherwise, the issue of “products existing to encourage pyramid schemes” will be further reinforced.
