Glenn Arcaro’s BitConnect sentence was postponed until 2022.

According to a joint petition filed on October 6th, the DOJ is still working on “matters influencing sentence.”

In addition, the parties are working on forfeiture and restitution problems, which will take some time to resolve.

The application was granted on October 7th, deferring Arcaro’s punishment until January 7th, 2022.

Last month, Arcaro (right) pled guilty to charges relating to his role in BitConnect.

In a second action, the SEC claims Arcaro got $24 million as BitConnect’s US National Promoter.

BitConnect was a $2 billion Ponzi scam, the largest criminal crypto case filed by the DOJ to date.

24th of December, 2021 – Glenn Arcaro’s sentence has been postponed until May 20, 2022.

17th of September, 2022 – Glenn Arcaro received a 38-month jail term.
