After a $31.9 million settlement was reached in 2020, the FTC said that 8 Figure Dream Lifestyle victims will get $1.1 million back.

According to a press release from the FTC on October 4;

The Federal Trade Commission is giving back more than $1.1 million to people who bought something called “8 Figure Dream Lifestyle,” which was said to be a scam.

Payments of an average of $460 will be sent to 2,506 customers. These payments will be made through PayPal and checks.

Checks should be cashed or deposited within 90 days, as it says on the check.

There are instructions on how to contact the FTC about payments.

In 2017, 8 Figure Dream Lifestyle came out. John Bain, Alex Dee (also known as Alex S. Dowlatshahi), Brian Kaplan, and Jerrold Maurer ran the gifting scheme that was against the law (aka Jerry Maurer).

In June 2019, the FTC sued 8 Figure Dream Lifestyle. Bain, Dee, Kaplan, and Maurer would later settle consumer fraud and telemarketing charges.
